Making A Positive Contribution

One of our team member has taken a step towards the initiative of education. She has started it by teaching two children named Shivangi (5) and Ankur (9). Shivangi's father sells vegetables and her mother is a housemaid. They send both of their children to a government school but there is no money for their books. Shivangi reads from her older brother Ankur's old book and has only one notebook to write. She loves to do the drawing and is a very talented girl. She learns everything very quickly which our team member teaches her.

Our team member Kanchan says, "Once when I was coming home, I saw a little girl drawing something on the wall with a piece of coal. The girl was making a picture on the wall. I asked her why she is doing art on the wall as it is not for drawing. She responded that she did not have any drawing book. The answer from her innocence forced me to help her. As a graphic designer, I want to increase this talent. Every week I take a class of drawing and teach her drawing and I believe that maybe one day with my little effort, she will become a good artist and her skill will get a new direction."

As they say, "Give a Man a Fish, and You Feed Him for a Day. Teach a Man to Fish, and You Feed Him for a Lifetime"
