3EA visited NMIMS, Mumbai campus during Summer Internship Placement Process. 3EA was a unique company which was operating in HR Advisory domain which caught my attention. For some time I was exploring career prospects in consulting domain. The idea of problem solving by interacting with clients, performing data analysis and recommending solutions seemed very challenging to me. I was convinced that consulting is a domain where I can realize my full potential and where I was intrinsically motivated to work.

I researched and became aware of an Internship opportunity with 3EA. I was immediately interested. I sent forward my resume and waited for correspondence from the company. The HR team reverted and my interview was scheduled first with the HR team and then with the CEO of the company. I was excited as getting interviewed by top management meant that the role I was getting interviewed for was critical to the company. I also appreciated the fact that the terms of my internship and expectations from me were made clear in the interview itself which left no scope of doubt in my mind. After the interview I was eagerly awaiting my first assignment. This would be my first stint in the consulting world, the moment I always longed to experience.

I started working for 3EA from 1st August onwards as an ‘Associate – Business Advisory – HR’. I was allotted a mentor who would guide me during internship. My mentor was very professional and amicable in her demeanor which allowed me to approach her in case of any concerns I might have.

I am currently in my 6th Week of internship. I have worked on diverse assignments ranging from creating content for digital marketing of the company to creating SOPs for clients to creating knowledge artifacts for the company. I have tried to deliver my best in terms of quality and time of work. I have learnt to manage MBA curriculum and internship deliverables.

One month working for the company I can say that I have been challenged in terms of tasks assigned to me. I have sought out help when I needed information or guidance. Moreover, I have received an opportunity to apply theoretical and practical knowledge I have gained in MBA curriculum.

Working for 3EA continues to be one of the most unique experiences of my corporate life. Work assignments, autonomy in work, organization support and work impact are the drivers which set 3EA apart from other companies. I am delighted to work for 3EA and hope to continue this collaborative association in times ahead.
